About my Scraps, Masks, Etc...Long Rant

You aren't going to believe this...

I really, really hate doing it - but I have to get it off my
chest or I think I may go pop bang lol!! Those who know me know I'm
basically a cheery soul, but jeeeeeeeeeez, this has to be said.

Right...here goes.
The full story -
One of my older freebie kits (Rock Princess) has a frame in it.
Circle, with
a cloudy effect and a circle of gemstones on it?
You might know the one?
It's an old one from last year.

Well, I was about to make a tag this morning and looked
in my Scrapkit Freebies folder of others scrapmakers
beautiful work for the perfect kit to go with my new, delicious
Garv tubes. I love using other people scrapkits in my tags.
And I saw something odd...very odd!!...in one of the folders.

There was a kit in there, which had my frame. Not a similar one. My one.
And the only difference? It's been recoloured.

Now - I might hear some of you cry - "Ah, but it could just be
you've both bought the same scrap supplies to use in your kits!"
Well yes, this can happen and that is complete coincidence.

Except in this case...and there's a bleddy good reason I know
it's not in this case.
Because -
The Rock Princess Frame 3 was made from scratch by me.



It's one of my early kits in the days before I bought
lots and lots of scrap supplies. I had some, but not lots!
So, I used a Preset Circle shape to make
the frame. I added Mura's Clouds effect to it (the placement
of the clouds on this other frame is identical btw, absolutely identical)
and I added a Bannerwoman purchased scrap gem which I
Mura Copies encircled onto it (same gem, same placement - funny that!)
It's a made from scratch scrap frame of MINE.
And someone else has downloaded it, recoloured it and
added it to their own freebie scrapkit.
(I even got a mate to independently check this - she looked at both without me
saying a word and then confirmed it)

And I am really, well, rather irritated by this.

I could go off on one big time, effing and
jeffing, posting the name of the scrapper,
the scrapkit etc
but I HATE HAAAAAAAAAAAAATE that sorta thing!!!!

I prefer this
more subtle - but still getting my point across - approach.

So, just to re-iterate for those small few
who seem to be having a massive problem
understanding what is - I reckon - basic
protocol for my blog creations (and most others come to that!)

Masks - my masks are not to be used to make your own masks.
Not one bit. Not any part of them. They are for your own end designs.
(ie. sig tags, web banners, stats etc) Not to be used to make your own masks.

Scraps - my scrapkits, elements etc are not to be used to
make your own scrapkits (either PTU or freebies!!) They are for your
own end designs (ie, sig tags, banners, stats etc) Not to be used to make
your own scrapkits.

All of this in my TOU file, but this seems to be getting missed?!?!

ALL PERSONAL USE ONLY - no profit, just fun.

Anything you download from this blogsite is subject to these terms.
I don't make scrap items for re-use in scrapkits. I make
tag elements (masks, wordarts and templates) for use
in your tag designs and I make scrapkits
for use in your tag designs (plus other uses as laid out in my full
TOU in the kits)
