Cheery-Bye 'til we meet again!

Well then everyone - what a difference a few weeks can make!

I have decided to retire from the PSP tagging community from today.

Something Albert Einstein once said has been haunting me recently -
"Insanity: doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results"
And that's how I feel about my own personal tag-making at the moment. Gaaaah! lol!

Plus, I've never been brilliant at dealing en mass with moods swings, egos, tantrums, temperaments and the general day-to-day things that happen in the PSP community. It can be quiet and lovely for a while, then BAM! All out mayhem and drama coming from all sides. And that's never been something I've enjoyed.

So, I've finally taken the plunge and admitted that it's time to hang up my tag making tools and go and do something different instead.

It's been a pleasure making things and I've loved it but I think new challenges are needed in my life.

So, I'm stepping right back from the "tagging community" otherwise known as PSP land.
Retiring - sounds so grand? I ain't no Frank Sinatra loL! But I suppose that's what it is. Retirement.

My tutorial sites (my main tut site has over 200 tutorials so I'm not wasting them loL!) and these Blogger sites will continue to be online so hopefully, if you need a mojo refresh or you're looking for a mask or two to help you along, they'll be here for you. I'll pop in from time to time to see that all is well so hopefully links will remain active etc.

I shall remain registered with Tutorial Writers Inc and my Terms of Use are still effective indefinitely.

And never say never.
Maybe one day, I'll get the time and the taste for tagging again and if I do - well, as Arnie would say...

So until then,
Thank you for all the thanks, the tags, tubes, kits, tuts and laughs.
It's been a hoot and a half.
And special thanks to my lovely friends - you know who you are! - for all the support and friendship over these last few years. It wouldn't have been quite so much fun without you.

'Til we meet again
Have fun, happy tagging and Thank You

Your friend,

Vix xx

I completely understand how you feel. My mojo for tagging has been mostly gone this last year or so. I think I have done every one of your tutorials over the years before I started writing them myself, lol.
Thank you for everything Vix, you'll be missed.

Excuse me. I am Brazilian and I understand almost nothing of English.
For this reason, I'm using Google Translator.
Since 2003, when I started learning, I have often used their masks to prepare my tags, I consider beautiful.
I'll feel really miss you!
Thank you for you exist and for having shared their
beautiful work and your art!

hugs

OMG! I hate to say you got me into this mess, but by gosh you and Minxy did it and i am forever thankful! I think you are wise to know when to retire, and retire doesn't mean die and leave forever, so if you decide to step back in, i know i for one will be glad to see you, and i will have you in my heart and fingers as i keep learning through your blogs and tut sites. Thank you so much for what you've given the tagging community. I pray that you retirement is not fast-stepping away from any recent drama, but a measured, thoughtfully paced one and that you are stepping back into something else you'll really love. Fare thee well!

I'm sad to see you go but thank you for leaving all your goodies and tuts behind. I, too, have lost my mojo over the past year. Too much real life stuff going on and there never seemed enough time. Hopefully, when I find my mojo - it must be around here somewhere - then I will be back snagging your stuff and following your tuts like old times. Good luck in whatever you do next. I'm sure you'll be awesome.

Vix, I am so happy for you!!!! Wow good brave woman - and yes you ARE brave as it takes courage to make a step to move further - I am glad to hear you are doing this. I DID like what you did of the graphic tags and all and I would love to follow you in your new life if you like? - if not then I say thanks for ALL you did and all you served your community. Drama is something we don't need anymore in our life. Warm Hugs
