2025 Update

Good grief!

It's been too long.

Where have you been?

Oh, I've been floating about in RL normie world a lot.  

I'm still very busy at my local church, where I seem to be on a lot of committees, groups, 

teams plus I do a ton of admin for the church, maintain their website etc. so by the time I finish my work, the last thing I want to do is be online 😊But, my love of quiet time online making pretty things is rising once more😉 So, I've been popping into stores and my favourite forum to 'dip my toes' once again...feel the need for the pretties.

What happened to your tutorial site?

It got eaten.  And that was really sad.

Webs closed the service down and as part of that service they were supposed to migrate  my entire site over to 'vistaprint' but they didn't.  I even had multiple conversations with 'customer service' who kept telling me that I didn't have a site.

Oh reaaaaaallly?

The name of my site and a couple of the front facing pages did make it over eventually - but the nearly 200 odd tutorial pages went PEUUUWWWWPHHH!

Disheartened?

Oh, you betcha.

So very many hours up in pixels.

And before anyone says "Why didn't you have it backed up?!"

Webs even had their service set up so you couldn't DOWNLOAD your own site.  

So, it literally went bang.

This was 2022 into 2023

Coming up to the time I was getting married, I also didn't have the will or the hours to get it sorted out.

And then church life kicked up a notch after our wedding - so tut loading in 2025 is still in the ether,

However, I do hope to (eventually!) get it back online one day.

I enjoyed hosting my old tuts (some of them are 18 years old!) as they seemed to bring fun to people's PSP learnin' so I do intend to sort it out.

I have other websites ready to use and load them up - just need to find an easy way to get those tuts back, updated and online!

Do you know what's been going on in PSP world?

Have really got a sausage.  Not a clue. 

I am vaguely aware of the ongoing rumbling about AI vs Non-AI 

I know that a few stores have vanished, sadly.

One I heard was being quite...er...well, it was causing a rumpus.

Sadly, I know some lovely psp people have passed - God bless to them and their loved ones.

But, other than that -   I know nothing.  

But, I'll catch up eventually.  Perhaps.

So, future plans?

I plan to be around more - I want to MAKE time at least once a week (probably weekends) to have fun and play in my old PSP again.

To relax and create.  It'll be lovely if I can.

I want to catch up on beautiful tubes that I haven't seen yet and scrapkits of gorgeousness to use.

So, I hope to see you around - I hope to create something once more and find that love that I had for PSP just over 20 years ago - two decades?!?  Oh we are getting old LOL!
